The uniqueness of the Mandarin Oriental hotel, residences

to living of six of the world's most talented architects, each devoted to the development of one portion of the island.
PIERO LISSONI IS ELEGANCE, SIMPLICITY AND A PERFECT UNDERSTANDING OF RESTAINT.
The renowned Italian architect, Piero Lissoni, has been
retained to create a chic, contemporary style with delicacy and luxury. Blending into the local environment, all accommodations will be designed with expansive outdoor terraces and balconies, providing panoramic views of the ocean and beachfront. Exceptional landscape design will be
a major focus of the hotel with infinity-edge swimming pools, sun decks, tennis courts, a beach club, a well-equipped reading library, and resort boutiques.

Kuma has been chosen to create the 30,000 square foot
Spa at Mandarin Oriental Dellis Cay and the Spa Lake Villas.
The thoughtfully conceived architecture, set against the fluidity of the pools, shallow ponds and reflective water surfaces, invites the natural and environmental qualities of water into the built spaces.
The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Dellis Cay will focus on a holistic
approach to wellness with fifteen individual rooms and VIP couples suites and state-of-the-art heat and water treatments.
He immerses you in environment. He floats you over the
water, pushes your eyes up to the sky to ensure that you
have become part of the environment. It is this invisibility that creates the most profound impact on your senses. Kuma's need to erase architecture, replacing it with an absolute connection to place, makes his work truly unforgettable.
Kuma established Kengo Kuma & Associates in 1990.
His numerous residential works, museums, and other public facilities have received on-going critical acclaim and have
won him several national and international awards. Renowned projects include the LVMH Group Japan headquarters, Great (Bamboo) Wall, and Water/Glass.
SHIGERU BAN TRANSFORMS MATERIALITY INTO LIGHT AND EMOTION.
For Mandarin Oriental Dellis Cay, Ban will lend his expertise
to the design of beach villas and over-the-water villas
linked by a discreet deck.
With a balance of Japanese minimalism and a refined
use of material, Ban's buildings touch the earth with
a lightness and transparency that draws you into serenity. His architecture magically dissolves the boundaries
between interior and exterior allowing you to immerse yourself in the perfection of place.
Tokyo-based architect and artist, Shigeru Ban is known
for his extensive focus on the use of innovative materials, especially Paper Tube structures. His recent projects include the Japanese Pavilion at Expo 2000 and the New
Pompidou Centre in Metz, France.
CARL ETTENSPEGER TtRANSPORTS YOU IMMEDIATELY INTO PLACE.
Ettensperger will design a set of the Caribbean's first
over-the-water villas which will follow the natural curves
of the shoreline while offering unobstructed views of
the Caribbean Ocean.
He believes in the power of the human connection to water.
As such, his architecture perches above the sea so you
are immediately embraced by the stimulating and emotional benefits of this relationship. His undisputed experience in premier resorts combined with his personal, relaxed aesthetic create a unique balance of true luxury - understated,
elegant, and connected.
Carl Ettensperger is managing director of C&C Studio, a
Singapore-based boutique design studio. His illustrious career involves the most prestigious projects in the hospitality industry: Hotels in Tunisia and Taipei; St George's Terrace, Australia;
the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Hong Kong; Leela Palace Hotel
in Bangalore and Bombay and the Hilton, Maldives.
DAVID CHIPPERFIELD BUILDS FRAMES WITHIN WHICH WE EXPERIENCE LIFE.
He will design and develop a natural peninsula on the
north shore, where residents will indulge in magnificent views of the glistening water and protected lush mangroves.
Graced with at least 150 feet of shore frontage, each extraordinary villa affords direct access to the channel that connects Dellis Cay with a neighboring island.
Driven by a constant philosophical approach, and not a
pre-determined house style, Chipperfield aims to connect you intimately to the external. His sense of drama lives outside

As a visiting professor and lecturer of architecture around
the world, David Chipperfield worked for Douglas Stephen, Richard Rogers and Norman Foster. Established in 1984,
David Chipperfield Architects has undertaken work in Europe, Japan, and the US.
ZAHA HADID CAPTURES MOVEMENT IN THE FLUIDITY OF SPACE.
Zaha Hadid has overseen the Dellis Cay Master Plan. It is
also planned that Hadid create luxury residences, beachfront villas, a commercial building with restaurants and boutiques, and a marina, where living spaces expand to become one
with the landscape, optimizing their beachfront location.
To say Zaha Hadid pushes the boundaries of architecture
is an understatement. Her work redefines our perception
of architecture in its environment and allows us to rethink
form and space. Hadid's fluid aesthetic blurs the classic understanding of interior and exterior spaces, through the
way we as humans conceivably connect to place.
Recipient of the 2004 Pritzker Architecture Prize, Zaha Hadid
experiments with new spatial concepts in relation to existing urban landscapes, from urban scale to products, interiors,
and furniture. Some of her best known work: Vitra Fire Station, LFOne/Landesgartenschau, Bergisel Ski Jump, Lois and
Richard Rosenthal Center for Contemporary Art, BMW Plant Central Building, and Ordrupgaard Museum Extension.
